Dear Families,

It was wonderful to see everyone on Friday for Parents’ Day. I hope everyone enjoyed their time in the classroom. This week we are celebrating Catholic Schools Week. On Wednesday students have Free Dress for Student Appreciation Day. Wednesday is also Principal’s Treat for lunch. Friday is a full day of school with a 2:45 dismissal. Below please see an overview of our week.

Math: This week our objective is to provide experience with several graphic models for renaming fractions as decimals.

Vocabulary: Review of Units 1-6

Grammar: Review of Unit 2.

Religion: Liturgy of the Word.

Social Studies: We will analyze the conditions under which Africans were brought to New Spain and their treatment.

Science: Various strategies have been used to get water where it is needed in California.
