Dear Families,

I look forward to meeting with everyone this week at conferences. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are a 11:30 dismissal. Tomorrow is our field trip to the Skirball Center. I need to have everyone here at 7:15. The bus will leave at 7:30. Please have your child wear school uniforms. Below please see an overview of our week.

Math: We will review equivalent fractions and provide practice with comparing and ordering fractions.

Religion: Identify the author of Sacred Scripture and describe the structure of the Sacred Scripture.

Social Studies: We will analyze the impact the Spanish conquistadors had on the Aztec civilization. Friday will be our next states test.

Science: Most of the Earth’s water is present as salt water in the oceans.

Vocabulary: Unit 6

Grammar: Some nouns have irregular plurals. There are special rules for forming these plurals.
