Kindergarten Families,
Keeping with the Halloween fun homework will consist of a reading passage and math worksheet. We will be practicing using ten frames. The math sheet is double sided. Work on single digit numbers and show that number on the frame. Remember ten frames are filled out left to right. If your child is up for a challenge have them do the double digits frames. They may want to color the bats to make their paper look colorful.
The reading passage is about Monsters and has a couple of responses related to the reading. Have your child draw to answer one of the questions and label that picture.
Read daily for 20 minutes. The Monster passage is included with the 20 minute reading. Read over and over for fluency.
