Kindergarten Families,

November is here! Homework starts this week. Please spend time reading each day. Check your email for homework on Seesaw and IXL. Please bring in Kindles all charged up and earphones.

Motor skills on Tuesday and Thursday – your child may wear PE clothes.

Music on Monday and Wednesday

Friday is a 11:45 dismissal and an assembly at 1:45 – look for zoom information coming this week.

A look at our week:

Religion:

We learning about our saints. Additionally our focus is on thankfulness.

Language arts:

Word work continues with rhyming. Phonics will review C and focus on letters N, R and A. Some work with syllables and letter formation. Reading workshop finds us reading old favorite stories. Writing workshop continues with adding to our best piece with speech bubbles and adding more information.

Math:

Spatial concepts we will work on distance near and far, in front and behind, left and right. Geometry using shapes to create other geometrical shapes and patterns. We will some spend time on graphing some favorite items.

Science:

Mystery science on Traits and Selection – learning about the world’s biggest apple!

Social studies:

Remembering our Veterans –
