The 6th grade studied life in Ancient Egypt. Each group had a scene to recreate as a diorama. The class viewed some of the actual dioramas the Ancient Egyptians made while on a virtual field trip with the Metropolitan Art Museum in New York. The scenes included priests performing mummification, a pyramid, a pharaohs house, a farm, citizens houses, and a military campaign. The students did an amazing job displaying knowledge and creativity. Next we go to Ancient Greece!
