Dear Families,

The fifth grade class will be very busy this week.  This Friday is a full day.We continue to participate is Stations of the Cross every week.  Below is an overview of our week.

Religion:  We will name the ways that Masses vary according to the Church year and the purpose of the Mass.

Math:  For IXl.com the section we are completing this week is L.6, Compare fractions and mixed numbers.  We will be having our chapter test on Wednesday.  3 ACC math assignments will be due this Friday.

Social Studies:  We will be reviewing and preparing for our Chapter 7 test on Thursday.

Science:  We will begin our chapter on the Human Body Systems.  We will focus on the respiratory system bringing oxygen into the body when you inhale.

Vocabulary:  Unit 9.  We will be taking our test on Tuesday.  We will then begin Unit 10 0n Wednesday.

Grammar:  Unit 4.  We will be focusing on the three kinds of conjunctions and prepositions.

ELA:  We continue with our book, The House of Dies Drear.
