The 7th grade class entered the realm of the marvelous Mayans this week. We are learning about their calendar, farming methods, government, and religion. We know much about their culture from their codex. In class today the students created a colorful codex with information about the Mayan culture using their numbers and pictographs. Next we are learning about the awesome Aztecs!
