Dear Kindergarten families,

We have a short 3 day week ahead, with a long Memorial Day weekend starting Thursday. The Parish Picnic is on Monday, May 27 all are invited to come join the fun! Please bring a side dish to share.

This week we continue to focus on Mary and praying the Rosary. A couple of chapters to read in our Religion text – Celebrating God’s great love for us and the Holy Spirit.

Reading and writing assessments will finish up this week and next. We will be work on sounds with short vowel word families and sight words. Writing to tell in good sentences how to make our world better place. We will read about Memorial Day for better understanding of this holiday.

Math will continue to work on telling time to the hour and elapsed time and a time match game analog to digital. Money exchanges with pennies, dimes and one dollar.

This week we will celebrate Julia’s May 26 birthday! For all the children whose birthdays are in June and July we will celebrate those friends after the Memorial Day weekend.
