Dear Kindergarten Families,

Here we are back from a long weekend! Hope everyone enjoyed your time with family and friends! This is a short week with a noon dismissal on Friday.

Monday, June 3 is Family Field Day! Your children will write a sentence or two letting all families know what color they will need to wear for this event. Look for their paper coming home in gold envelope later this week!

Our last art lesson is on Tuesday with Miss Nancy!

Our religion lessons continue with Mary and we will discuss June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We are working on a religion keepsake of collected work – writings and crafts that were posted on our religion board.

Much of our language arts lessons will be working on short vowels as we work on reading and rhyming several word families. Words their Way lessons will work on nursery rhymes reading each line and gluing in correct order. Writing and Reading workshops will be reviewing past lessons.

Math lessons will be on math facts. We will play games and work on addition and subtraction math stories.

As this year is wrapping up look for projects coming home – we have worked hard on our American Symbols and made a beautiful patriot book of art and reading material.

Summer birthdays will be recognized in the next two weeks. Look for the birthday crowns coming home soon!

As the last days are winding down, I have enjoyed this wonderful year! Thank you for your children they are fantastic!

Mrs. Brown
