This is a very exciting week in fourth grade! We are busy with not only subject matter, but with a lot of Christmas arts and crafts.  Also, our field trip to La Purisima is this Wednesday.  We are leaving at 8:00, so please make sure your child is at school on time this day.  It is a free dress day, but it will be cold.  It will also be muddy.  Please send your child wearing warm clothing, preferably layers.  OLD shoes should be worn. Please pack a sack lunch.

Tomorrow is the chapter 4 social studies test.  There will be a spelling test on Friday.  All students should now be reading a historical fiction for the next book report.

Congratulations to our spelling bee finalists, Patrick, Hector, Martin, Natalia, and Devin.  They will represent grade 4 in the school bee on January  6th.

This Friday we will have our Christmas celebration.  Friday is also a noon dismissal day.
