The third annual middle school dance, with a local DJ providing music, will be held on Wednesday, June 20 from 5:30-8p in Biedermann Hall rather than the previously scheduled date of Friday, June 15 due to a scheduling conflict in Biedermann Hall. A large majority of middle school students need to attend the dance in order for it to take place. The cost of the dance is $5 per person, payable by Friday, June 8th. Teachers and staff members will be in attendance as chaperones; only students in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades at Sacred Heart School may attend; no guests or parents are allowed. Students may dress in school-appropriate free dress attire. The theme of the dance is Summer Fun and students will decorate the Hall with this in mind. Sacred Heart School will provide drinks and pizza. With sufficient interest shown, we will have a photographer take posed photos of students, in front of a backdrop, during the dance. Students may be in as many photos as desired, but each photo they are in will cost $1. We ask interested students to prepay for at least one photo and photo money is due by Friday, June 8th. Students may elect to pay for additional photos during the dance. We hope enough middle school students will have the time & interest necessary to have this annual event continue this year.

Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
