After much preparation, it is time for the WCEA Accreditation Team to be on campus on Tuesday-Thursday, March 3, 4, and 5.

During these three days, the five-member team looks for evidence that supports statements made in our 90-page self-study, Improving Student Learning. The self-study looks back at our efforts of the last six years, and states an Action Plan for the next six. Their schedule includes visiting class/common rooms, reviewing our data, and meeting with our pastor, administration, teachers, staff, students, & family members. The meeting for family members is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3 at 3:30p, when the team meets with about ten family members to ask questions and encourage input.

If interest and time allow you to be a member, please contact the office via phone or email to include your name in a drawing for this ten-member group to represent our school families. The drawing will be divided into three levels (primary, intermediate, and Middle School) with three to four representing each level. It takes place on Tuesday, February 25, and those selected will be contacted to confirm availability on March 3. If your schedule does not allow this time, or your name is not selected in the drawing, remember the survey information given by family members is part of the data reviewed by the team.

On Thursday, March 5, following two days of meetings and observations, the team writes a response to our self-study, and presents their findings to our staff. Our hope is to receive another six year accreditation period.
