Dear Families,

This Friday is a noon dismissal.  As the weather stays warm I encourage all students to bring extra water to school.  I have decided to change our chapter two science test to Wednesday.  I think we will benefit from another day of study. Next Wednesday is Free Dress for $1 to benefit Adopt-a-Family.  Next Thursday is picture retake day.   Below is an overview of our week.

Math:  We will use place value to make magnitude estimates for products.   IXL sections for this week are C.8, Estimate products and C.9, Estimate products, word problems.

Vocabulary:  Unit 3

Grammar:   We will focus on compound subjects and compound predicates.

Religion:  We will be reviewing unit 1.

Social Studies:  We will begin chapter 4.  We will analyze the impact the Spanish conquistadors had on the Aztec civilization.

Science:  We will be taking our chapter 2 test on Wednesday.  We will then begin learning about the respiratory and circulatory systems.
