Dear Kindergarten families,

Announcements for this week:

Please remember to send your child with a bottle of water each day. If you would like to purchase a bottle of water here on campus for $1.00….. look for 8th grade students on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Wednesday is a free dress (non-uniform) day to support Adopt-A-Family, our yearly mission for this trimester. Please donate $1.00 or more.

Friday is a noon dismissal and Primary Centers! Volunteers, please go to office, get a visitor badge, and sign service hour binder. Help in class starts about 10:15.

Our daily religion focus continues with Saints and praying parts of the Rosary.

ELA – continues with letter/sound practice, sight words, printing and the Workshops. Our strategy is to add a personal connection to the information we read. Writer’s will continue to write pieces to turn into books or scrolls. Strategy is to add to and revise the writing piece.

Math -games to help reinforce numbers 1-10, oral counting, patterns are revisited, and preparing for number writing.

Science – changes with plants and animals in fall.

Social studies – mapping skills
