Dear Kindergarten Parents,
I am happy to see many of your little “saints” have a Saint to portray for our annual Saint’s Parade. If you have not yet decided, please do so by Monday, October 22.
Wednesday is a free dress for your students. Please send in $1.00 if your student chooses to participate. All money collected will go to Adopt-a-Family of Los Angeles.
Friday is a full day with school Families in the afternoon.
Our academic week:
Religion has us reading about Saints in our religion book. We will continue to pray the Hail Mary to be ready for the Living Rosary on October 24 at 2:00. If your child has a rosary, they may bring it to school next week. Parents, please join us if you schedule permits!
Language Arts continues with the alphabet sounds and identification, print practice and sight word sentences. We are almost finished with the first Theme in our series. As we get ready for the next Theme our reading strategies will be more comprehensive.
Patterns continue in our math lessons, we are noting how the same patterns can be shown in different ways. We are finding patterns as we count by using a 100 chart.
Plants and how they grow continues in science. Our lab work will help us understand how each part works as we experiment with the root system.
Have a nice warm week!
Mrs. Carol Brown
