Dear Kindergarten Families,

A Martin Luther King, Jr. booklet is coming home to read for homework. Note it is listed on the reading log. This being a 3-day weekend homework is to read for about 20 minutes each day and find items for the 100 day activity.

Reading / Web Log

Next Wednesday is the 100th day. 100 day bags should be returned early next week.  Our class will bring in 100 items in a hundred-day bag (provided in homework folder). This means they need to be small.  Please group items in sets of 5, 10, 20 or 25 use a small snack-sized bags or bundle with rubber bands.  This will help us as we count together on 100th day. Your children will enjoy bringing in their items to share, guess, check as we count the items. Please staple or tape the bag closed for our sharing time.  A suggestion is to bag up cotton balls, paper clips, stickers, erasers, pennies,  jelly beans, craft sticks, buttons, small toys, etc.

Your child may choose to search the World Book Web, click on EM, ixl, storyline online, starfall, and/or any other learning sites/ apps they enjoy for homework. Please list the sites on the reading / web log.
