Dear Fifth Grade Families,
On Wednesday we will have our Halloween Tattoos. Students can have one on each hand. If students want to buy more the tattoos the rest will be sent home in bags. The cost for each tattoo is $1.00. Wednesday is a free dress. It does not need to be Halloween theme. Please join us for our Saint Parade this Friday at 8:30 in the church.
7th grade will have a Halloween play on October 31. The play will be at 1:40. Please join us if you can.
Please have your child wear their P.E. uniform on Thursday. Every night your child should be reviewing their Social Studies and Science notes. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. My email address is fifthgrade@sacredheartschoolventura.org.
Below is an overview of our week.
Math: Chapter 3. Multiplication.
Science: Chapter 3. We continue with the respiratory and circulatory systems.
Vocabulary: Unit 4.
Spelling: Unit 5. We will have a pretest on Thursday. We will have our test this Friday.
Social Studies: We will evaluate the early Europeans and Asian visits to the Americas.
English: We will be able to identify correct forms of be or have. We will also be working with irregular verbs.
Religion: This week we will focus on the Rosary and the Mysteries of the Rosary.
Literature: We will continue reading our novel, Indian in the Cupboard.
