Dear Families,

This week is a noon dismissal. We are working hard in 5th grade. Below is an overview of our week.

Religion: We are focusing on what Jesus said in the Gospels about keeping the Word of God.

Math: We are working on renaming fractions as decimals and percents.

Science: We continue our study of the Water Cycle.

Social Studies: We will analyze the failures and successes of the Jamestown colony.

ELA: 5th grade is continuing to work on the Cause and Effect writing assignment. We continue with our novel Murder at Midnight.

Vocabulary: Unit 10

Grammar: Explain the functions and the use of prepositions and prepositional phrases.
