Our staff is working to organize and schedule Sacred Heart School as an online school for the duration of time that students may not be on campus.

The staff is emailing, texting, and meeting on Zoom, as we select online possibilities for use, write lesson plans, and build a schedule for our students and staff to meet daily online. We are going to advance the education of each of our students in the same way we have been doing face to face. We will transfer that effort to screen to screen until we can be in the company of one another again.

Before the close of school on Tuesday, students were given school work and other assignments to work on during this school week. We appreciate family members coming to pick up items necessary for their student(s) when needed.

Mrs. Clemmensen is piloting Religion and History classes with 6th 7th, and 8th grade students, and she reports success on these first efforts.

In the next days, we will be testing access to our students through email, Edmodo, and Zoom as we anticipate our first real online school day on Monday.

We will be reaching out to all soon!
