This Sunday is the 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Gospel is very timely this week. It discusses the ways to follow Jesus. The students in 8th grade focused on how we need to follow the Ten Commandments and share our many gifts, talents, and resources with others.

In the 7th grade the students are learning about the 12 Apostles who followed Jesus and continued his work to promote Christianity. In addition to taking notes on the 12 Apostles, each student in the class is also making a list of the 12 “Apostles” in their life. They are identifying people who have supported and nurtured them over the years. Please take time to look over this list when they bring it home in the workpacket.

In the 6th grade we have finished our Old Testament Bible Powerpoint presentations. We are now discussing Creation and how to be good stewards of our Earth.
