Reading Log Wk 5 – Please read 20 minutes daily
PEEK AT OUR WEEK
READING: We are learning how readers always keep life lessons in mind as they read. We are also learning how to make comparisons of stories we have we have read while grouping books by the lessons they teach.
PHONICS: Learning about homophones and how to tackle troublemaker words.
WRITING: Working on our Series Writing. Students are working on including chapters and creating patterns to help elaborate their writing.
SPELLING: Spelling Test will be on Mondays.
SCIENCE: Mystery Science Halloween Special: What would happen if you didn’t have a skull?
SOCIAL STUDIES: Being a Good Citizen and Exercising Our Right to Vote
MATH: We are learning about fact families and the relationship between addition and subtraction. We are also exploring weight with a pan balance and spring scale.
RELIGION: We will be taking a Unit 2 Chapter 5 Quiz on Tuesday. We will start Unit 2 Chapter 6 focusing on how Jesus shows us how to love others.

Thursday: Music and PICTURE DAY! Students are to wear school uniforms for pictures.
Friday: Noon dismissal and FREE free dress (Halloween attire; NO COSTUMES)
