Fluency Wk 13

Reading Log Wk 13 – read for a minimum of 20 minutes daily with a goal of 100 or more minutes per week


A SNEAK PEEK AT OUR ACADEMICS


READING:  We are learning to think about what the authors want to teach us as we read their books.

PHONICS: As we continue decoding challenging words, we are learning how to break up words with the consonant /le/ in such words as sample, title, and dribble.

SPELLING: Due to the short week, we will spend this week and next on the new sort. The spelling tests will be on Friday, January 29.

MATH: We are learning how to use the partial-sums method for solving multi-digit addition. We will be taking the Unit 4 Math Assessment on Friday.

WRITER’S WORKSHOP: We are finishing up our informational books so we can post them to Seesaw on Thursday.

RELIGION: We are learning about the presence of the Holy Spirit and why it is important to pray to the Holy Spirit.
