A SNEAK PEEK AT OUR ACADEMICS
READING: We will finish the unit of Growing Word-Solving Muscles and begin the next unit: Reading Growth Spurt. Students are learning how to decide how books want to be read.
PHONICS: We are learning how to combine high-frequency words to make compound words. In addition, we are learning how to remember snap words.
SPELLING: Spelling tests will be on Friday.
MATH: We will finish the chapter on Tuesday and take the Unit Assessment on Thursday.
RELIGION: We will learn about the season of Advent as we prepare for the birth of Jesus.
EVENTS THIS WEEK
WEDNESDAY: Red family envelope and first trimester progress report available for pick up.
TUESDAY – FRIDAY: Canned food drive
FRIDAY: $1 Free Dress, 11:45 a.m. dismissal, and School Families on Zoom at 1:45 p.m.
