Der Families,

We had a wonderful Grandparents Day on Friday.  It was so nice to see all the family members.Fifth grade did a wonderful job.  Family envelopes will go home on Tuesday.  This Friday is a full day of school with a 2:45 dismissal.  Below is an overview of our week:

Math: We are reviewing addition and subtraction  of whole numbers and decimals.

Social Studies:  We are having our chapter 1 test on Thursday.  We will spend the week preparing for our test.

Vocabulary:  Unit 2.  This unit focuses on historical nonfiction and using context clues.

Grammar:  We continue to learn all about commas and the different ways they are used in sentences.

Religion:  We will discuss Jesus in the Gospels and how he Gospels tell us how Jesus lived.

Science: We are continuing to learn about the cell organization.
