As we begin this last week of school, we look back on a wonderful year, full of much learning and many accomplishments.  We have worked hard, and we are ready for the summer break!

There is no homework this week! Tomorrow, Tuesday, is a free dress day; students will participate in Field Day with their school families.  Each family has been assigned a popsicle color, and fourth graders know their colors.  On Wednesday, we go to Mass and then after Mass we celebrate the 8th graders’ academic accomplishments.  Thursday, Spirit Day, another free dress day, is our final morning together.  We will participate in a variety of activities outside, have lunch, receive our final progress reports, and head home at 11:45.

ACADEMICS

  • Religion: We are taking a deeper look into the Bible for the rest of our time in Religion for the year.  Students will need the free “You Version” Bible app on their kindles.
  • Math: We are finishing up math assessments.
  • Writer’s Workshop: We are finishing our informational books and will have our “publishing celebration” on Tuesday morning.

We wish everyone a safe and relaxing summer break, and we will see you in August!
