Sacred Heart School, Ventura, California, started celebrating Constitution Day several years ago. “This year… it’s going to be bigger and better than ever, with Constitution Day presentations for different Grades” said Joaquin Rodriguez, the President of the school

Sacred Heart School celebrated Constitution Day on Tuesday, September 17th, 2019. Constitution Day is known in the United States. The purpose of Constitution Day is to remember the signing of the United States Constitution.

One way Sacred Heart celebrated was the 8th Graders presented booklets to the younger students. For example, four 8th graders by the names of Nicolas Vasquez, Nicolas Flores, Isaac Weslow and Dylan Benner were assigned to present to the first Grade class. The presentations were a little explanation of what Constitution day is.

At the end of the presentations the 8th Graders provided a quiz. They provided the quiz to see  if the students were paying attention to the presentation. Most of the students got the questions correct.

“The first Grade students really enjoyed the presentations” said Mrs. Vasquez, the first Grade teacher.

At the end of the day, the 8th Graders gave the younger students pencils as a memory of Constitution Day in 2019.
