Dear Kindergarten Families,

To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, we are to wear uniform. No green shirts or pants, although we are able to wear green additions to our uniform – bows or  headbands, socks, pins, shoes, etc. ON Wednesday we will have a free dress (please send in $1.00 or more) this is for help the  Make-A-Wish mission endeavor for the second trimester.

Religion lessons – learning about church and its meanings, what we see and do during Mass, understanding how to show reverence and continue with our Lenten prayer time.

ELA- reading groups have started, this gives your children a smaller group setting to focus on reading comprehension as we  retell the stories, look at the problems the characters encounter and solving them. The skill of using their tracking finger for each word and we will be segmenting and blending as we read sentences.

EM – plane and solid shapes, continuing with counting money, and graphing findings.

Science – healthy food choices, learning the food groups: anytime foods and sometimes foods. Our healthy bodies- muscles, heart, ans 5 senses.

Social studies – maps and looking at the globe.

Please note the calendar is coming – for Primary Center sign-ups. This is on March 27.
