March is here! So much fun is ahead 🙂 Please mark your calendars!!
- Every Wednesday afternoon in March at 2:00 – The Stations of the Cross will be presented by our 8th grade students – – please join us if your schedule permits.
- Almost Spring Showcase and Sweets – Friday, March 10 – 2:00 dismissal
- Primary Centers – Friday, March 17 – noon dismissal
- Jogathon – Friday, March 31 – noon dismissal
- This Friday is a noon dismissal
Sincere thanks for your prayers and generous donations for the victims in Turkey and Syria.
Lent continues to be our Religion focus as we learn about the Stations of the Cross. Continued prayers for those in need. We pray Our Father and Glory Be with Angel of God as we end our day.
Language arts – we continue with writing, letters and sounds and reading the big books! We will work on heart words (sight words) to read by heart. Just beginning to learn the parts of speech – Nouns!
Math – time to hour, event and elapsed time, counting by 5s, and counting to 100, continued work with the number grid.
Science and Social studies – finishing up with winter and weather changes.
Homework
Check homework folder for two papers – Math and Language Arts
Longer and Shorter Time (double sided) and a paper on nouns. Encourage best effort. Homework is due next Wednesday.
