Dear Families,

I hope everyone had a peaceful weekend.  It was so nice to see so many parents on last Friday.  We wish Tanushree good luck this Friday in the Spelling Bee. We also want to welcome back  Aaron Gonzales.

Below is an overview of our week.

Math:  We will begin adding and subtracting fractions. Please encourage your child to complete three Acc math packets a week.  The extra credit is really helpful.

Social Studies:  Chapter 5 is our focus.  We are learning about the Europeans settlements throughout North America.

Science:  We  will be learning about the water cycle in chapter 5

Voc: We will continue with our cumulative review

Spelling:  In unit 21 we are working on the spelling pattern of changing the y to i and adding endings.

Lit:  Home Sick, My Own Story is our story for the week.

Religion:  We will continue with our study of the Order of the Mass and we are beginning to discuss the meaning of the Apostle Creed.
