Dear Families,

I hope everyone had a restful weekend.  We will be very busy in the fifth grade this week.  We will be delivering the donuts from our  sale on Tuesday of this week.  This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday please join us  for mass if you are able to.  Below is an overview of our week:

Religion:  We will begin our study of Lent.

Social Studies:  The focus is on the Southern States and immigration to the Penn Colony.  We will be having our chapter test next Monday, March 16.

English:  We will be having our Unit test on sentences on March 9th.

Math:  This week we move on to multiplication and Division of fractions.  The class is doing very well with their Acc math.

Spelling:  Unit 25 is our unit for the week.  Since the students are getting their vocabulary words on Friday there will no longer be pretests on Thursdays.

Voc:  We continue to work on Unit 10.  We will be having our test this Friday.
