Valentine’s Day was a happy one. 🙂 My Valentine gift to all is NO Homework this week!! Cozy up and read with your little valentine(s)!

Friday is a noon dismissal with Primary Centers!

Please send in a donation on Friday to help aid the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. Your children will enjoy free dress. More dates will be announced…..

Religion: we are learning to share God’s love in prayer with our hearts and hands. Ash Wednesday is next week the 22nd. If your schedule permits, please join us for Mass at 8:30. As always families are welcome for Friday Mass at 8:30.

Language arts: I can see considerable growth with our daily reading and writing. Punctuation is a skill we are working on as we write our daily sentences. Letter formation and number formation – learning to stay within the lines. Practice a bit at home if time permits.

Math: continue to count by 5s and use tally marks at home to reinforce this skill we work on at school. Telling time to the hour and elapsed time will be our focus over the next few weeks.

Social studies: interesting facts on our Presidents. We are also learning about South America!

Science: planting seeds and plants in our backyard garden. Looking at the changes in weather as we prepare for a new season.

Blessings,

Mrs. Brown
