Dear Kindergarten Families,

While we are at home learning…our Kindergarten backyard sunflowers begin to bloom. It is a nice visual for me! It is as nice as seeing your children do classwork on the screen. 🙂

Thank you parents/grandparents/family friends for all your help getting the kiddos used to the ins and outs of Zoom. I feel we are doing well and ready for next week. We will expand our day just a bit and add a program called Seesaw. Please visit the App store and download the Seesaw Class app. I will email each family an individual code to join our Seesaw Class group.

New schedule starts on Monday

  • join Zoom school at 7 :50
  • break at 10:00
  • Zoom starts back 12:30
  • day ends at 2:00

Homework

Do the Promise leaflets March 22 “Jesus invites us to see and believe” and this Sunday March 29 “We care about our friends”.

For those in my group who did not finish Math page 9 do the steps and tiptoes across the room and fill counts in book. Do page 10 measuring with nonstandard measurement tools; hands or feet or whatever you can come up with at home, example: blocks, paper clips joined together, craft sticks etc. Remember to measure across with tool end to end, no gaps!

As always read together daily. When reading notice sight words and maybe some rhyming words. Feel free to use Young Explorer Magazines as your reading material. We will also use those magazines in class, so keep them handy!

If questions arise, feel free to send me an email.

Enjoy your weekend!

Blessings,

Mrs. Brown
