As a reminder, lunch catering will be closed until February 28th.

Sneak Peek to our Academic Week

math: This week we will begin our new math unit on geometry! This week we will focus on identifying lines, line segments, and rays.

reading: This week we also begin our new reading unit- Character Studies! In this unit we will dive deeper into understanding the characters in our books, identifying their motivations, and work on characterization.

writing: This week we will continue to publish our informational pieces.

word work: NO word work this week!

religion: This week we will focus on God’s Kingdom and reflect on how His kingdom is a kingdom of love.

social studies: We will begin learning all about The Chumash.

science: This week we will solve the mystery, ‘Why do plants grow fruit?’ We will see how fruit is a tasty container for seeds, and how all fruits are simply one part of a flower.
