Homework:

Religion: We will complete Unit 3 with a test on Friday. This week we will be making a heart necklace so we can wear it on our special day of Reconciliation.
Language Arts:
Reading : We will continue reading Ant. Our strategy focus is questioning as you read. Students must ask an interesting question about important information they have just read. Our comprehension skill focus is text organization. We will be looking at photos, captions, and text to record details.
Spelling: Unit 26: contraction words
Grammar/Phonics: nd, nt, mp, ng, nk; -s, -es,-ies (nouns); Singular Possessive nouns
Writing: Students continue their How To Books
Math
We will continue reviewing 6.5 and continue to 6.9. We will be taking our Math test next week on Tuesday.
Science
On Wednesday we will be taking our Science test
Events this week:
Tuesday: Wear your P.E. uniform! You may accesorize for St. Patrick’s day such as green socks and pins.
Wednesday: $1.00 Free Dress for Make A Wish Foundation/Library Books Due
Thursday: P.E.
Friday: Dismissal at 2:45
Our Sacrament of Reconciliation is on March 24th at 1:00. We will meet at the church. Your child must wear their school uniform not their P.E. uniform on March 24th.
NOTE: Please be sure to write your child’s name on water bottles and lunch boxes. 🙂
