Happy Halloween week! We have an exciting week up ahead!
As a reminder, Halloween tattoo pre-sale continues until Wednesday. Tattoos are $1 each. The money for the tattoos will be collected in class!

Sneak Peek to our Academic Week
math: At the beginning of this week, we will review regrouping with addition and subtraction with a fun Halloween surprise 🙂 Then on Wednesday, we begin multiplication! This week we will work on the foundations of multiplication, learning that multiplication reflects equal groups.
reading: This week in our non-fiction unit, we will work on discovering the main ideas and supporting details of our texts.
writing: Informational writing…we are underway! This week we will work to think like non-fiction authors do, and begin organizing and categorizing our ideas into a table of contents.
word work: Word lists can be found in your child’s planner and on Vocabulary A-Z. Spelling tests are scheduled for this Friday.
religion: This week we will wrap up Chapter 5, then review for our Unit 1 religion test, covering ideas from chapters 1-5. Our religion test is scheduled for this Tuesday.
social studies: We will learn all about the History of Halloween!
science: We will complete a fun and spooky science lab, learning all about buoyancy!
