Third grade families,

Sneak Peek to our Academic Week

Math: This week we will work through unit 9.10-9.12. We will work to extend our multiplication of 2 digit numbers times 2-digit numbers.

Reading: This week we begin our new reading unit, research clubs! In this unit, groups will work together to research specific animals. ReadingIQ will be used heavily throughout this unit, so please make sure your child is logged onto their ReadingIQ account on their devices so that they can access the books during our time on Zoom.

Writing: This week we will work to wrap up our opinion writing pieces! We will work on strengthening our conclusions…ending them with a bang! Then, we will spend the week publishing our pieces.

Religion: This week we will begin Chapter 16- Jesus Is Risen. Although Easter has passed, we will continue to take the time to discuss that Jesus rose from the dead and brought us life everlasting.

Word Work: Spelling words can be found in your child’s planner. Spelling tests are scheduled for this Thursday on spellingcity.com
