Sneak Peek to our Academic Week
math: This week we continue with finding the area of shapes, now tying in multiplication, by multiplying length x width to find the area. Our unit math test is scheduled for this Thursday. We will begin reviewing for our test tomorrow!
reading: This week we will continue on with our class read aloud, The Absent Author as we visit strategies we can use when the mystery becomes long and complicated.
writing: This week we will focus on polishing up our writing pieces and finish our publishing! We will begin with our next unit, opinion writing, next week!
word work: Spelling words can be found in your child’s planner and on spelling city.com. There will not be a spelling test this week.
religion: We will read through and discuss Chapter 15-Jesus Suffered and Died for Us, and we discuss all that He did to show his love.
