Our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are working on Unit 5 and will begin looking at a new method (for us at least) for multiplying – partial products. Remember to check out the back of our homework and our math notes for examples of how to solve these problems!
ELA:
-Writing: We are continuing our writing. We are beginning to add mini-stories to our writing as we build evidence to support our claims.
-Reading: We are working on our nonfiction unit. Please help by encouraging nonfiction books at home! We are writing 7 sentences in cursive for our second trimester RRJ. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes but our RRJ is 1 time a week! We will begin alternating fiction and nonfiction responses in a few weeks!
-Spelling: Please check your student’s daily planner for their spelling words this week.
Social Studies: We are beginning our mission projects this week! We will be partnering up and selecting our mission for our projects!
Science:We are hoping to do another Mystery Science this week.
Religion:This week we work on Chapter 16.
