Here’s our week in 4th grade…

Math: We are beginning Unit 7 – fractions!

ELA:

-Writing: We are beginning our new writing unit this week.

-Reading: We are continuing to study Westward Expansion.  We are in our 3rd and final trimester which means we are writing 10 sentences in cursive for our RRJ. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes but our RRJ is 1 time a week. This week is a fiction response. Please encourage your student to follow the guide we worked on in class. 

-Spelling: Please see your student’s daily planner for their new spelling words.

Social Studies: We are continuing with our chapter on the Gold Rush and Statehood. 

Science: We are wrapping our 4th chapter in our science books as we begin to prepare for our science test by the end of the week.

Religion: This week we will be starting off with our Beatitude booklet and then move on into our Chapter 23.

Homework: 

Monday:  IXL Skill V.5 (3rd Grade) – RRJ (fiction response this week)

Tuesday:   Math Worksheet – RRJ

Wednesday:  Math Worksheet and review for test – RRJ – Study for Science Test

Thursday:  IXL Skill V.1 – Study for Spelling Test – RRJ – Study for Religion Test

School Notices:

Stations of the Cross at 2:15 in the Church on Wednesday

Wednesday is “Dress like a Book Character Day”

12pm Friday Dismissal
