- Reading: Nonfiction is everywhere! We’ll keep practicing how to read nonfiction well by making a connection to our texts, and by trying our best to look IN and AROUND unfamiliar words to figure out their meanings.
- Writing: We begin our focus on Opinion writing this week!
- Religion: Advent has arrived! This week, and the next weeks to come, we will study about Advent in religion. Our focus this week… HOPE!
- Social Studies: We continue learning about California’s Native People and their various cultures.
- Science: This week, we continue our study of rocks. We focus on Sedimentary rocks and ask the question: What did our town look like 100 million years ago?
Let’s make it a great week!
