  • Reading: This week, students will practice their reading skills through groups as well as through whole class learning. We continue our novel study with The Island of the Blue Dolphins and connect this to our Social Studies learning.
  • Writing: Opinion — This week, students will tackle the essay topic: Should students have homework?
  • Religion: This week we talk about sin: original, mortal, and venial and how our relationship with God is affected by it. We will discuss the importance of relationship with God, especially during this Lenten season.
  • Science: Rock Cycle – Students will participate in a hands on activity to learn how the rock cycle works.
  • Social Studies: Students continue their CA Mission project. We will discuss the mission era in more detail this week.
