Our 8th Grade students have organized activities for the celebration of Read Across America!  Two times in March, we will stop everything else we are doing and STOP. DROP. AND READ for 15 minutes.

During the two weeks leading to Easter Break and the week following our return to school in April, all students will be able to complete a ticket for every book read.  These tickets will be kept in containers for the primary, intermediate, and Middle School levels and a drawing will be held on Friday, April 13 for various prizes.

On that same afternoon, the 8th Grade students will travel to all the classrooms, dressed as Dr Seuss characters, and read Dr Seuss books.

“You are never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read with a child.”  Happy Birthday, Dr Seuss!
