The final week of school has arrived, and our much deserved summer vacation is just around the corner! Today we received our yearbooks, and in the afternoon enjoyed Field Day, traveling in school family groups through a variety of activities. Tuesday is a quiet day; remember, no P. E. On Wednesday we celebrate the school graduation Mass, and then finish up work and projects. On Thursday, a half-day, we will participate in Spirit Day, and I will send home the final work packets. On Friday we will go to Mass and then receive our final progress reports. Dismissal will be at 10 a.m.

DAILY WORK/HOMEWORK This is a week for finishing up any previous assignments, including ixL skills and fluency homework, as well as:

  • Informational book
  • 10 commandments booklet
  • Unit 35 Spelling ABC order
  • Unit 16 Vocabulary sentences
  • Social Studies sheets for issue #21

Religion: We end our year by learning about the Beatitudes.

Math: We are finishing up work on fractions and then designing theme parks, reinforcing the ideas of perimeter and area.

Reading: Students are encouraged to continue reading every day. We will reflect on our growth as readers this year in a final project.

It has been my great privilege, joy and pleasure to work with the class of 2022.

Thanking you for all of your support this school year, and wishing everyone a wonderful summer vacation.

Mrs. Mary Dwyer
