Hello Families!
First off, a big thank you to all our family volunteers who have come and helped at our “Primary Centers”! Last Friday was our last “Primary Centers” and we had so much fun beginning our celebration of Earth Day, which is on Monday!
On Monday we will do our subject matter with an Earth Day theme. In math, we will count coins and dollars to see what can save us money when we recycle. In reading we will begin a “paired text”, that will give different information on helping our earth. In religion, we will create an Earth Day hat to show how we can help God’s world.
For the rest of our week, we will begin learning about ways to measure in math. In science, we continue our unit on bees and how they help plants grow.  In reading, we will focus on thinking of questions as we read to help with our comprehension.
The picture at the top of our newsletter is from a marvelous picture book! it is a wonderful introduction to parts of a Catholic Church, the Mass, and the people who make up our Catholic family. A great book for your bookshelf!
