Dear Families,
Thank you to all who came to the conferences. I truly enjoy hearing your unique perspectives of your child. Please do not hesitate to email me if there is a change in your schedules or if your child has any changes as well.
This last week was wonderful, we were able to fill it with activities to beat the heat and keep us learning! We continued learning about how our class is like a family as we support one another, are truthful, and show respect to each other. We began learning about prayer and why it helps us grow as a person. We worked on reviewing numbers up to 50 and using our number chart. In science, we began to think of ourselves as scientists by learning about observing, recording, and experimenting.
On Friday, we had a special time outside. Thank you for bringing blankets and towels for the occasion. We spent time reading under the big tree by the Rectory and it felt heavenly. We also filled up our “Sparkle Bucket”! I thought it was a great time to introduce our individual Lego boxes and give some time to create on their own. I use these boxes and other building materials for our STEM time during the year!
As mentioned during conferences, homework begins this week. The homework folder will come home on Wednesday and be returned the following week. If you have any questions about homework or anything else please email me.

Thank you again for coming to conferences!!
Mrs. Driscoll
