It was great to meet with all of you during parent conferences. Every single students has made progress! I look forward to seeing you next Friday, January 25th on Parent’s Day!
A SNEAK PEEK AT OUR ACADEMICS
Language Arts:
Reading: We will continue working on retelling. We will also identifying the problem and solution in a story through independent reading and read alouds.
Reading Words/Phonics/Grammar: We are working on contraction words, compound words, verbs, and nouns.
Writing: Writing Sentences beginning with capital letter, ending with a punctuation. We will begin our first formal information writing on Wednesday. 🙂
Math: We cotinue reading a thermometer. Skip counting by two’s. We will also be working with base ten blocks.
Social Studies: We are discussing how we use water as a resource.
