*retell

*reading and rereading to improve fluency

Math: Double facts and telling time to the hour continues to be our focus. 1+1, …..12+12. We are learning a double fact song and learning the pattern of double facts. We are also counting money using nickels and pennies. Students are having trouble identifying coins and values. Students need to know the value of a penny, nickel, dime, and quarter. For the test in about two weeks, students will need to know how to count nickels and pennies, simple addition and subtraction, and skip counting by 2’s and 5’s up to 30.

Skip counting by 2’s and 100’s will be our review this week along with place value and counting base ten blocks.

Religion: Our discussion this week will be about Saints. On Wednesday, Students will go home with a paper to fill out regarding their saint. Please be sure to turn in by Friday.

Science: Our kids had such a great time with our virtual field trip. We made our bird nests. Some kids recording themselves on Seesaw. Please take the time to check out their videos. Mrs. Hahn also brought in a hummingbird nest for students to observe.
