Today on the second Sunday of Advent the 8th grade reflected on the Sunday Gospel for December 4. The Gospel introduced us to John the Baptist and his role in preparing all of us for Jesus. We discussed ways to prepare for Advent by helping others. Next we talked about taking the right path in life and what gets in the way of that path.  Each student drew a path from the bottom of the page to the top and wrote down everyday decisions that detour them from taking the right path. They then wrote down suggestions to direct themselves back on the best path to heaven.
