Middle school has been busy. Remote learning (and teaching) has its challenges but with some help from our science lab assistant we were able to pack up some necessary items for family pick up and were able to complete a few labs remotely!

8th graders have completed their studies on the Solar System with a Planetary Poster Presentation and completing a Pocket Solar System Lab.

7th graders are in the middle of our studies on genetics and participated in a fingerprinting lab and made an edible model of DNA. We also had our overnight field trip scheduled for last week but…participated in an online squid dissection instead – Mrs. Petersen even joined us!

6th graders have just completed our studies on Volcanoes and we completed a circle book project about volcanoes and a lab plotting various explosive and non-explosive volcanoes on a map…the Ring of Fire!
