Dear Fourth Grade Families,
Our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are beginning our Unit 6 in our Everyday Mathematics. We are focusing on multiplication and division strategies.
ELA:
-Reading: Continued work on our Reading Response Journal. If you have any questions please contact me. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes!
-Vocabulary: We are on our first week of Unit 10. Remember that these words are available on SpellingCity.com for practice.
-Spelling: We are in Unit 20 this week. Our test will be on Friday
Social Studies:We are working on our third chapter in our books. In addition, we are continuing our mission project!
Science:We just started our first lesson in Chapter 5. We will be learning about Rocks and Minerals.
Religion:We are on Chapter 16 this week. Our chapter focuses on respecting ourselves and others. Remember to check our website on Wednesday afternoons for “Worship Wednesday” to see a bit of what we are doing in our classroom!
Homework:

School Notices:
-Catholic Schools week has begun! Tuesday is Teacher/Staff Appreciation Day, Wednesday is Student Appreciation Day, and Thursday is Parish Appreciation Day.
-To celebrate Student Appreciation Day students will have Free Free Dress and a hamburger lunch provided.
-Friday is a full day of school
